gainfully employed! I had to share this wonderful news with everyone. Exactly 15 days ago (who’s counting?) I interviewed with a dynamic company that is growing by leaps and bounds. I was blown away by the company’s positive culture and my gawd, the position would be a great opportunity for me. This position would steeple chase me over the yuck, real estate industry that I’ve worked in for over 20+ years. (sorry to offend anyone, but I’m threw with that cyclical bullshit of an industry)
After much lamenting, nail biting, second guessing and a several freak-outs since my interview, I recieved that phone call today…”We’d like to offer you the position…” I started to cry. Really, I was crying with tears of joy. I was so happy. I accepted with sniffle of happiness and I begin my new career path in the Learning and Development field on December 21st, 2009.
I’m still planning to continue my studies of Espanol. Oh, did I mention my new company has offices globally? They just so happen to have an office in Barcelona, Espana! I’m also going to continue to write erotic literature and support the industry by buying, reading and offering congratulatory praises to all my friends for all the hard work and dedication you each seem to effortlessly create. My heart and soul thanks you for that magic.
Right now I’m sipping a glass of champagne and I’m smiling from ear to ear.
