This isn’t the first time I’ve been tempted by the shoes of another. I’m working on a story and needed an image. I found these chocolate, sequined Manolo Blahniks -

Yes, I’m fully aware that I’m breaking about five out of the seven deadly sins for wanting them, but damn, these are really something . I seriously think if I clicked my heels three times while wearing them I’d fly right past OZ and land somewhere else - sipping a martini, wearing a Pucci scarf, while shamelessly canoodling with a gorgeous hunk named Massimo. I also know they’ll probably pinch my pedestrian, wearing flip-flop feet, but…*more sighing*…I suppose I’ll just have to take my chances.

Hey Neve, I am so not a shoe person, ever since I screwed up my feet dancing on pointe. But I’ll tell you, these chocolate babies put a sparkle in my eye, too. Paolo seems pretty impressed, too ;-). Nothing wrong with a little fantasy.

I think these little bitter sweet chocolate, babies are rich and extravagant, but not too ostentateous.
Yes, to dip my little toes into the fantasy of wearing these has been very nice.
I have more shoes than I know what to do with. So many that I am not even tempted. WOW! I even surprise myself by saying that.

That’s good. I think these shoes are so elegant and understated, but oooze private jetted jaunts to London and Paris.
Manolo is way out of my budget, but it’s nice to look at them and create the above in my head.

Those are SO cool. I would want them in a different color (black or silver or something bright!), but have I mentioned lately how much I adore sequins??

hm…i got a shoe thing going on..starting with the fact that i dont get tired of buying myself white shoes..i have tons but there is still room for another pair..and dont say anything.. i m latin..i am suposed to wear white shoes..lol….going on with the fact that i dont like feet..really…i hardly can look at them ..but thats why i love shoes..because they hide the feet…:-)..these are defenetly “leave them shoes on baby”-shoes…if you know what i mean..:-)

Funny about the myth of being Latin and white shoes. I think of Latins and I think of gorgeous, soft leather in every color but white.
It’s a no-go on feet for you, huh? Yes, these Latin influenced, designer sequined little numbers should probably never come off the person lucky enough to wear them - they’re influencing the story I’m writing. Yah!
